One of Giger's most recognized and pre-Alien paintings. Biomechanoid 75 was created in the mid-1970s during one of H.R. Giger's rare and periodic departures from his familiar gun-metal grey pallette. The painting resurfaced in 1998 after having been in a private collection in The Netherlands for 23 years. 
It is currently on exhibition loan to the HR Giger Museum and was included in both the 2004 Museum Halle Saint Pierre retrospective in Paris and the artist's 2005 retrospective in Prague at the National Technical Museum. Biomechanoid 75 is the finest representation of Giger's brief "green period".
